Trained in law, politics and sociology, with a PhD from Monash University, Dr Waleed Aly is also a Walkley Award winning journalist and an AFL Mascot.  In 2016, he won a Gold Logie award for Best Personality on Australian television, partly for his work on ‘The Project’.  A widely cited political commentator, Dr Aly was an invited participant to the Australia 2020 summit held in Parliament House, Canberra.
