Professor Jenny Hocking is a political historian and biographer based at the National Centre for Australian Studies at Monash University.  A frequent visitor to Canberra and the ANU campus, Professor Hocking is a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences and the author of ground-breaking studies of the Whitlam Government.  Her public addresses include major presentations at the Museum of Democracy and the National Archives of Australia.
